BigchainDB (Ocean Protocol) & Weeve Join Forces For IoT Data Trading Using AI
Weeve is a blockchain startup that is based out of Berlin, and they recently announced that they would be partnering with BigchainDB/Ocean Protocol on May 22nd, 2018. This partnership is made in effort to venture into the IoT data-trading marketplace. However, to put them ahead in technology, they also employ the help of Artificial Intelligence.
The entire goal of Weeve is to develop an ecosystem that is made for machine-based economy, which is primarily due to the monetization of data that can be entered into the blockchain. On the Weeve Network, truthful data can be exchanged through the blockchain, regardless of the privacy on the marketplace. From there, traders can sell their data as an asset.
By combining the efforts of both Weeve and BigchainDB/Ocean Protocol, both parties have the opportunity to see how they can take advantage of each other’s services and functions. However, this also lets them use various crypto-economic incentives in exploration of the Weeve and Ocean Protocol.
