Colleges and universities are working in hand in hand with local companies so courses are not only relevant but boost learners’ chances of finding employment anywhere – and especially here in Cornwall.
David Atkinson-Beaumont, programme team leader for vocational arts and gaming at Truro and Penwith College, which is sponsoring this year’s Cornwall Live Edge Awards Digital Rising Star category, said the number of students wanting to join the gaming and media courses is on the rise.
