simPRO fights fatbergs with IoT – News – IoT Hub
Brisbane-based software company simPRO, which provides a cloud-based software to enable trade contractors to manage their businesses, has added an IoT capability to its offerings that will enable contractors to add sensors to equipment they have provided for clients and manage and monitor that equipment via the simPRO IoT platform.
The offering was announced in London, where it is already being used to fight fatbergs — great globs of waste bound together by fat and grease that build up in sewers — with simPRO saying it would be rolled out to the company’s 100,000 users in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the UK over coming months.
