NJFX Hosts South American Subsea Cable Delegation
Earlier this year, before the world was overtaken by the COVID-19 health crisis, a group of delegates from Ecuador and Chile visited NJFX’s Wall, NJ Cable Landing Station (CLS) for a tour as a feasibility study for a future project. The delegation hoped to learn more about achieving an optimal model of interconnection, a feat that is all too familiar to NJFX. The project in question, dubbed the “Asia South America Digital Gateway”, will connect the west coast of South America to Asia via subsea cable.
