IoT startup Nimble Wireless provides solution for monitoring remote assets
The internet of things (IoT), that involves machine-to-machine communication without human intervention, has created a lot of noise in the past few years. From automated cars to smart butlers, a large number of IoT applications have been focused on the affluent class. A Chennai-based startup is using IoT to solve pain points faced by consumers and enterprises.
Nimble Wireless provides a hardware-based IoT solution for monitoring remote assets. The startup has found two major use cases in the pet safety and food distribution industries. Founded by Siva Siva Kumar and Naveen Sabapathy in 2007, Nimble Wireless, initially a wireless product services company, pivoted in 2012 to launch an IoT-based monitoring product.
