IoT device install base to hit 55.9bn by 2025: IDC
By 2025 there will be 55.9 billion connected devices globally, with 75% of these connected to an IoT platform, IDC predicts.
The research firm has forecast that data generated from connected IoT devices will grow from 13.6 zettabytes last year to 79.4 zettabytes by 2025.
