A new service from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) could help businesses securely connect and manage their Internet of Things (IoT) devices at scale. The Google Cloud IoT Core, announced via press release on Tuesday, offers a central point of management for IoT devices and integrations with other Google analytics services.

The service will manage aspects of an organization’s IoT deployment such as data ingestion, scalability, availability, and performance, the release said. Additionally, users will be able to build IoT applications that utilize the additional analytics tools. Read more…
