Cayenne Spices Up India’s Growing IoT Momentum Partnering with SenRa
India has not been slow to move on implementing IoT projects over the last few years, investing in smart cities and future jobs. Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary in the Department of Telecommunications, while speaking at the IoT India Congress last year said the IoT will create 10-15 million jobs over the next few years, with most of these jobs created by start-ups.
Sundararajan added that IoT is helping address gaps in infrastructure, agriculture and healthcare while leveraging the substantial software development talent in India, as more and more engineers are being educated by top technical institutions. India’s leadership in advancing telecom into the 4G era has also created a healthy atmosphere for connecting things and people.
Today, SenRa, a PAN India LoRaWAN network service provider, announced it has developed, tested and begun rolling out applications that run on their low power consumption and low-cost networks with myDevices, an Internet of Things solutions company.
