Amazon Web Services wants to promote innovation in Germany
In response to the growing cloud computing market in Germany, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has opened a new, state-of-the-art office in Munich. “Companies from all sectors of the German economy are using the AWS cloud to promote innovation, substantially cut costs, securely use their data, and at the same time support their growth in Germany, Europe, and worldwide,” said Klaus Bürg, General Manager for Amazon Web Services in the DACH region at the opening ceremony. “The new AWS office in Munich with the Digital Builders Showroom, the Industrial Software Showcase, and the Event Area is another part of our ongoing investment to further promote cloud initiatives in Germany.”
