Deutsche Telekom launches EU-wide IoT tariffs with half-pric
The offer comes from Telekom Deutschland, the group’s subsidiary in Germany, but is available across all 28 members of the EU, including the UK, whose government is planning to leave at the end of October.
“Deutsche Telekom is the first company to also offer roaming on the NB-IoT [narrowband IoT] networks of its national subsidiaries. These are currently Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Greece,” said Norbert Riepl, a cloud and IoT specialist in the group.
