IKEA The Perfect Partner For Xiaomi’s AI, IoT Mass-Market Push

The connected, or ‘smart’, home will prove to be an important testing ground for vendors of more consumer-orientated goods and services and a new partnership between lifestyle furniture-maker IKEA and Chinese smart device vendor Xiaomi is the latest in what will likely become a competitive market. As a starting point, the companies will integrate IKEA’s range of smart lighting products with Xiaomi’s Internet of Things (IoT) platform.
