Motorola Solutions acquires VoIP dispatch provider Avtec

At the International Wireless Communications Expo last week, Motorola Solutions released a number of new products, from PTT 9.0 for wireless carriers – which it described as offering “an extensive set of features compliant with the 3GPP [mission-critical push-to-talk] standard” – to a new body-worn camera and a mission-critical internet of things gateway for connecting IoT sensors, which also has a P25 two-way radio built in.
